Why BELCANDO® FIBER-Tabs?

FIBER-Tabs supplements the dog’s diet in a targeted manner with a balanced combination of fibres known for their regulating effect on digestion and their satiating effect.

Insoluble fibres do not contain any usable energy, so they reduce the energy density of the pet’s daily food intake. They also have a solidifying influence on the contents of the pet’s intestines.

Soluble fibres are partially metabolised by intestinal bacteria and can have a prebiotic effect on the intestinal flora. By absorbing water, dietary fibre extends the transit time of the gut contents and so has a positive impact on stool consistency. A high swelling effect also promotes satiety.

L-carnitine plays a key role in fat metabolism and is essential for the mobilization of fat reserves.

Feeding recommendation

FIBER-Tabs are especially recommended for: dogs with a tendency to obesity, dogs with an inadequate feeling of satiety and for high crude fibre needs.

To support satiety: 5 Tabs per 10 kg of body weight daily. The daily dose should not exceed 10% of the dry food intake and should be divided up into at least 2 to 3 portions.

For stabilising digestion: 2-3 Tabs per 10 kg of body weight daily.

FIBER-Tabs can be fed alongside regular meals on a long-term basis and are very well accepted by dogs – they can also be used as a low-calorie treat between meals. Fresh drinking water should be available at all times.
